An accomplished professional singer and actor, Orgena Rose has performed in Ragtime on Broadway, Porgy and Bess at Carnegie Hall, appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show, the Tony Awards on CBS, the Today show, in two PBS specials, The Making of Ragtime and in the Denyce Graves Special, Breaking All the Rules with Patti Labelle.  She has also toured nationally and internationally and has appeared in numerous commercials, industrials, in the BBC Docudrama, Pandemic and the feature film, Snappers.

Known as an electrifying performer, Orgena now brings her one-woman show, Legacy to the CCT cabaret stage.  Celebrating the songs of Marian Anderson, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne and Ella Fitzgerald, Legacy traces a rich history of jazz, gospel, rhythm and blues.

The music and lyrics of George and Ira Gershwin come to life in an evening of entertainment devised by Steve Hilderbrand (CCT Artistic Director).   Adapted from Hilderbrand’s original revue ‘Swonderful, George and Ira: A Gershwin Rhapsody presents classics from the Gershwin Songbook interspersed with reminiscences by Gershwin contemporaries.  Joining Hilderbrand for this cabaret evening are Johanna Carlisle, Crystal Emmott, Stephanie Likes, David McNutt, Scott Schmelder and Preston Steenhoek.

Shana BousardShana Bousard has been professionally involved in music and theatre since 1984, and a member of the Actor’s Equity Association since 1997.  She obtained her Bachelors of Music from the prestigious Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut, and immediately began performing in regional theatres across the country. Shana was a featured singer/dancer for Holland America and Regency Cruise lines, and has performed several cabaret acts in New York City, as well as her solo vocal recital at Carnegie Hall in 1994.  Since she moved to Arizona in 1995, Shana has performed for Arizona Jewish Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, Phoenix Theatre, Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix, Theatre League, Lunchtime Theatre at the Herberger Theatre Center, as well as her own TML Arts, founded in 1999.  Shana is an AriZoni Award nominated actress/director with extensive commercial and voice-over credits including American TV and Appliance, Desert Suzuki and Kia, Cox Communications and US Airways. 

Joe BousardJoe Bousard has worked professionally in music and theatre for over 35 years.  Since 1962 when he moved from Phoenix to New York, he has been a teacher and coach of voice, acting and Musical Theatre.  Joe is a graduate of West Phoenix High School and Phoenix College.  He received his BA degree in Speech Arts and Theatre from San Diego State College, where he performed and directed operas, plays and musicals.  He continued his work in piano and voice, honing his skills as accompanist and composer/lyricist for a variety of singers in New York City, while directing choral groups and producing his own Musical Theatre productions.
Joe has won awards for Children’s Television and is a member of ASCAP.  He was listed in JCC’s “Outstanding Young Men of America-1968”.  He has been a guest teacher at colleges, secondary schools and professional training schools in the USA and Japan.  His students have appeared in numerous professional productions and in their own cabaret performances around the world. 
Since his return to Phoenix in 1994, he has appeared on stage in “A Christmas Carol” (twice), “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten”, “The King of the Kosher Grocers”, and the musical revue “Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance” for Paradise Valley Community College, for which he was also Musical Director and Arranger.  Joe is an AriZoni Award Winning Musical Director, and has also performed his own cabaret shows around the country.  He continues to perform and teach and coach many talented students.
