Christie's "And Then There Were None" March 11-20, 2005, 7:30 pm
with 1:30 matinees on the 13th and the 20th |
 |
First there were ten--a curious assortment of strangers summoned
as weekend guests to a private island. Their host, an eccentric
millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. All
that the guests have in common is a wicked past they're unwilling
to reveal--and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has
been marked for murder. One by one they fall prey. Before the
weekend is out... And Then There Were None. And only the dead
are above suspicion.
There are plenty of tickets still available for all of the
performances. We are thrilled to be working with Valley Center
of the Deaf after our success with this unique performance art
style in our summer melodrama! TWO (2) Shadow performances will
be held on the 18th and the 20th. Ticket order forms can be found
by clicking on the link below.

| Steve
Hilderbrand & Friends, May 13 & 14, 2005. 7:30 pm |
 |
CCT's own Artistic Director, Steve Hilderbrand, is our final
cabaret entre of the 2004-2005 Inaugural Season. For those of
you accustomed to seeing Steve as a member of Trinity Central
or as CUMC's Director of Contemporary Music, hold on to your
seats. You are in for a real treat as Valley favorites Stephanie
Likes and Lynne Haeseler join Steve in a personal trek through
the influences upon his talent and career. If you think you know
Steve, do not miss this special opportunity to get to know him
and his music even better. (WARNING: There is a side to Steve
you haven't met!)
Be sure to purchase your tickets for this show early as we
anticipate they will go fast.

| Sally
Jo Bannow was a success!! |
 |
Chameleon Jo - Fun, laughter, songs and prizes! WOW! Sally
Jo Bannow treated CCT audiences to an insightful musical look
at her varied life experiences. Highlights included Carolina
in the A.M. featuring Sally Jo as a Veddy-British-tap-dancing-violinist
and her lovely ballad, Imagine.
CCT's cabaret venue won rave reviews from Sally Jo's accompanist,
Joe Bousard. A talented pianist, comedian and teacher of the
Art of Cabaret, Joe bestowed compliments on CCT's professionalism
and cabaret facility. "I'll be recommending CCT to my students
and colleagues," he said.

of Advertising... |
 |
|
CCT is proud to announce our partnership with AM radio station
KXXT (also known as Air America). A series of one minute spots has
already run in promotion of Sally Jo Bannow's cabaret and a current
blitz is underway for "And Then There Were None." The ads are great
and feature CCT's Artistic Director, Steve Hilderbrand. Ads for "And
Then There Were None" will continue through the run of the show.

| 2005-2006
Season |
 |
|
We cannot make a formal announcement yet, but plans are nearly
complete for CCT's first full season. Look for a formal and detailed
announcement in the next issue of "Spotlight on Central."
What we can tell you now is that 2005-2006 will be a very exciting
time for all of us who love theater and cabaret. The CCT Board is
setting its expectations high and is ambitiously contemplating a
season filled with two musicals, two non-musical productions and
three cabarets! Clearly, this will require the support, commitment
and efforts of all our loyal volunteers and the continued financial
support of our audience and sponsors. This is a time of tremendous
learning and growth for CCT and an excellent opportunity to become
a integral member of the expanding "CCT family."

| Website Redesign |
 |
|
With the announcement of CCT's 2005-2006 Season,
it is time to update the website
(centralcommunitytheatre.com) to accommodate the
new schedule. Over the next month, the site will be
completely redesigned to not only make the
information current, but to also make the site more
informative and easy to use.
Bear with us as we go through this frustrating, but
necessary, change. The results will be worth it! In
the event you are unable to log onto the website to
purchase your season tickets, call the box office at
602-357-3247. Cindy will be happy to take your order!
